by The famous Hummer is returning in a new form. The brand is being revived, but now as a manufacturer of off-road electric vehicles. The first electric model was showcased in a commercial during the Super Bowl (the final of the American football championship).
The model with the preliminary name GMC Hummer EV will be introduced on May 20. The first electric pickup from General Motors will be the main competitor to the Tesla Cybertruck.
In the short video, you can spot the traditional Hummer grille and LED headlights. It is also stated that the top version will output 1000 hp, with a maximum torque of 15,575 N∙m!
Like Tesla, the Hummer pickup will be able to accelerate to 100 km/h in 3 seconds.
The new Hummer will go into production in the fall of 2021 and will be produced in Detroit.
