Hyundai Ioniq 5 N Formula Receives an Extreme Updated Version from Genesis

Genesis Launches New Powerful GV60 Magma Model

The Genesis brand, which was initially created as a luxury branch of Hyundai, is now entering the high-performance car market. The first serious step in this direction will be the GV60 Magma model, which was recently spotted during test runs on the Nürburgring track. This car will become the first representative of the new Magma sports line.

The GV60 Magma is positioned as a premium alternative to models such as the Kia EV6 GT. It has received a more aggressive front-end design with aerodynamic elements, sporty wheels, and red brake calipers. The model is also equipped with cameras instead of mirrors, which is already offered in the standard GV60 version.

Technical Features and Expected Specifications

The GV60 Magma is based on the same platform used in the Hyundai Ioniq 5 N, but with more power. The model is expected to receive an 84 kWh battery pack, and its power could reach around 700 hp, which exceeds the performance of its competitors.

Like the Ioniq 5 N and EV6 GT, will probably use the same 84 kWh battery pack. The Hyundai tops out at 641 hp from its dual electric motors, while the facelifted EV6 GT out-muscles it slightly with 645 hp.

Among other expected features are a virtual gear shift system and a sound effect that simulates the operation of a traditional internal combustion engine. The model has also received numerous aerodynamic improvements, including modified wings and additional elements on the roof.

The launch of the GV60 Magma could be an important step for Genesis in the fight for the attention of sports electric car enthusiasts. The brand is demonstrating ambitions not only in the luxury but also in the high-performance segment, which could attract a new audience. Along with participation in competitions such as Le Mans, Genesis is gradually turning into a serious player in the world of motorsport.
