Launch of the sporty Hyundai Venue N Line version
Hyundai has introduced the sporty version of the compact Venue crossover called N Line in India. This model features a more aggressive design, updated technologies, and retains the powerful engine. The company is actively expanding the N Line range, making it accessible for different market segments.
Key features of the novelty
Updated design and exterior
The new Venue N Line looks larger and more aggressive compared to the previous generation, showcasing cubic shapes. The sporty front end has additional air intakes next to the daytime running lights, a radiator grille with dark coating, and elements reminiscent of the styling of the larger Creta N Line.
The 17-inch diamond-coated alloy wheels hide red brake calipers, which combine with red accents on the bumpers and side sills.
The crossover also received body-colored fenders, a more expressive rear spoiler, and dual exhaust pipes integrated into the rear bumper. N Line emblems are placed on the radiator grille, fenders, center caps, and trunk lid.
Interior and technologies
The interior is executed in black color scheme with red contrasting stitches. The steering wheel resembles the design of the fully electric Ioniq 5 N, equipped with paddle shifters and special controls for selecting driving and traction modes. N logos are also present on the gear shift lever and leather seats. The manufacturer added metal pedals and red interior lighting.
The equipment is quite rich, as the N Line occupies the top position in the Venue lineup. The standard 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster is combined with a 12.3-inch multimedia system screen that supports navigation and NVIDIA graphics, as well as a premium Bose audio system with eight speakers, a smart aroma diffuser, and a Level 2 ADAS system.
Technical specifications
Despite significant exterior and interior updates, the technical component of the Venue N Line remained almost unchanged. The 1.0-liter turbocharged engine develops 118 horsepower and 172 Nm of torque, transmitting power to the front wheels via a six-speed manual transmission or a seven-speed DCT robotic transmission.
The company did not provide information on chassis tuning, so it is assumed that the new model retained the N Line-specific suspension and steering system, like its predecessor.
Sales plans
The Hyundai Venue N Line will go on sale in India as early as next week. It is currently unknown whether the model will be available in other markets.
This crossover demonstrates how Hyundai integrates sporty elements into compact models, making them attractive to young buyers. Retaining the engine and technical base allows maintaining a competitive price, while offering an updated design and additional features. Such a strategy could strengthen the brand’s position in the small SUV segment, especially in markets where customers value style and innovation.
