Hyundai Ioniq 6 N: New Details About the Electric Car
Hyundai continues to reveal details about the upcoming Ioniq 6 N model, which will debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed on July 10. This will be a sports version of the electric sedan, expected to have a power output of up to 641 hp and an aggressive chassis setup.
The development of the Ioniq 6 N has taken several years, as evidenced by the RN22e concept from 2022 and numerous spy photos. The first official teaser appeared in April 2025, and now the company has shown more details, focusing on the sporty elements.
Design and Technical Features
Externally, the Ioniq 6 N may resemble the standard N Line version but will differ with wide fenders, aggressive bumpers, and a large rear spoiler. The car will also get alloy wheels and tires for enhanced performance. In the teasers, the model is presented in the signature Performance Blue color with red accents.
Hyundai engineers have focused on three key aspects: cornering handling, track capabilities, and everyday comfort. The Ioniq 6 N is likely to inherit the dual electric motor system from the Ioniq 5 N, as well as an 84 kWh battery.
Expected Specifications
In addition to power, the model will receive an updated adaptive suspension, more powerful brakes, and more precise steering. The use of technologies such as a simulated dual-clutch transmission and artificial engine sounds to enhance the driving experience is also anticipated.
Thanks to its lower stance and aerodynamic design, the Ioniq 6 N may surpass the performance of the Ioniq 5 N. The model’s debut will take place at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, where Hyundai will reveal all the details.
Given the success of the Ioniq 5 N, the new model could be another step in the development of electric sports cars. Hyundai continues to invest in technologies that combine high performance with environmental friendliness, making the Ioniq 6 N one of the most anticipated premieres of the year.
