The Hyundai Elantra sedan has received a high-performance N-version. The powerful hot version is already available in South Korea and will be launched in other countries by the end of the year. It is the fastest sedan in Hyundai’s history.
The new Hyundai Elantra N is equipped with a 2.0-liter turbo engine producing 276 hp in standard mode and 285 hp temporarily when activating the Overboost function. The maximum torque is 392 Nm. Acceleration to 100 km/h takes 5.3 seconds, and the top speed is limited to 250 km/h.
The sedan is available with a 6-speed manual transmission and an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic, and it also features an electronic front differential. Adaptive dampers and enlarged 360 mm brake discs are installed.
The new Hyundai Elantra N can be recognized by its body kit, more aggressive front end, and rear spoiler. It is also equipped with 19-inch wheels, and two exhaust pipes are visible at the rear.
The interior features sports seats and steering wheel, as well as a revised virtual instrument panel. Alcantara is used in the trim.
