New Package for the Hyundai Ioniq 6 N
Hyundai has introduced an additional N Performance package for the Ioniq 6 N electric sedan, which already features an aggressive design. This package is specifically designed for owners who wish to enhance their car’s track potential. Key elements include a carbon fiber aero kit featuring a rear ‘swan-neck’ wing inspired by the Porsche 911 GT3.
Aerodynamic Improvements
The optional kit also includes a more pronounced splitter, sharper side skirts, and diffuser extensions. All components are made from exposed carbon fiber, which contrasts with the red accents on the lower part of the body. The dual-layer rear wing can be adjusted to three positions: 8°, 0°, and -8°. Depending on the angle, it generates between 265 and 305 kilograms of downforce at a speed of 257 km/h. An additional underbody deflector reduces lift and provides an extra 16 kilograms of downforce at top speed.
Wheels and Exterior Details
In addition to aerodynamic elements, the package includes forged 20-inch wheels with a 12-spoke design, available in black or white. They reduce unsprung mass by 1.5 kilograms compared to the standard aerodynamic wheels of the same size. For further customization, a racing stripe, a Sabelt tow strap, carbon fiber center caps, and black wheel nuts are offered.
Interior Updates
Inside the car, the updates concern the steering wheel, upholstered in Pasubio leather, suede armrests, carbon fiber sill plates, and floor mats with the N Performance logo. The company also offers Ferodo brake pads designed for use on both public roads and tracks.
Technical Specifications and Features
The Hyundai Ioniq 6 N is equipped with two electric motors that together produce 641 hp and 770 Nm of torque thanks to the N Grin Boost function. This allows the car to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.2 seconds. Like other N series models, this electric sedan features simulated gear shift systems, synthesized exhaust sound, and N Drift Optimizer for improved control during drifts.
Price and Availability
The N Performance Parts package was announced in July 2025 and is already available for order in Korea, with subsequent rollout to other markets. The full aero kit costs 11,000,000 won (approximately $7,500), while the rear wing alone will cost 4,900,000 won ($3,400). In Korea, the base price of the Hyundai Ioniq 6 N is 79.9 million won ($54,700), while in the USA, a price of around $68,000 is expected after its launch next year.
This move by Hyundai demonstrates the growing competition in the high-performance electric vehicle market, where options like track-focused aerodynamic packages are becoming increasingly popular among enthusiasts. The integration of technologies previously associated with internal combustion engine cars underscores the brand’s commitment to combining innovation with the emotional aspects of driving.
