Hyundai unveiled a teaser of a new truck with design elements from passenger cars

Hyundai introduced the new generation of Xcient trucks

Although Hyundai is better known for its passenger cars and crossovers, the company also manufactures heavy-duty trucks and buses. The flagship Xcient model, which has been in production since 2013, is preparing for an update. The manufacturer has already published the first teasers of the new version on social media.

Unlike most competitors, who make only minor changes, Hyundai has completely redesigned the Xcient. The model received an arrow-shaped radiator grille with a cubic pattern, a more compact brand logo, and massive aluminum elements extending to the windshield.

Technical features

The new Xcient is expected to feature an updated dashboard with modern technologies, including autonomous driving systems. The lineup will continue to offer various configurations: tractors, dump trucks, and mixer trucks with wheel formulas ranging from 4×2 to 8×4.

Digital mirrors and aerodynamic solutions should significantly improve the efficiency of the new model

Current versions of the Xcient are equipped with diesel engines ranging from 10 to 12.7 liters, with power outputs of 335–513 hp. Hyundai is also developing electric versions with a range of up to 400 km. The exact technical specifications of the updated model will be revealed after the official presentation.

Trucks have always been an important part of Hyundai’s business in the commercial segment. The update to the Xcient shows that the company continues to invest in this direction, combining traditional reliability with modern technologies. Special attention is paid to ergonomics and driver comfort, which could become a significant advantage in a competitive market.
