Infiniti Presents Three Bold Concepts of the Future

Infiniti to Present Three New Concepts at Monterey Car Week

The Infiniti company plans to show three new concepts at the Monterey Car Week auto show. Two of them could become the basis for new versions of the QX80, and the third hints at a future QX65 crossover in a coupé style.

The first concept — the QX80 Terrain Spec — is oriented towards off-road adventures. It has received reinforced underbody protection, extended wheel arches, increased ground clearance, as well as a roof rack and additional lighting equipment. Although details have not yet been disclosed, it can be assumed that the model will inherit technologies from the Nissan Armada Pro-4X, such as air suspension and a rear differential lock.

Sporty and Exclusive Solutions

For fans of fast driving, Infiniti is preparing the QX80 Track Spec. This version will have a more aggressive design, a sportier suspension, and possibly a modified exhaust system for a more emotional sound. If the model goes into production, it could get a more powerful engine than the standard QX80.

The final concept — the QX65 Monograph — will show a future crossover in a coupé style. It is known that it will receive bright lighting design and a sporty silhouette, and under the hood, there will likely be a 2.0-liter turbo engine.

The QX65 will become a two-row variant of the QX60 and is expected to offer front-wheel or all-wheel drive combined with a 9-speed gearbox. The presentation of the new products will take place soon, which will allow for a more detailed assessment of Infiniti’s plans for expanding the lineup.

In recent years, Infiniti has been actively working on updating its model range, focusing on powerful and exclusive versions of its SUVs. This allows the brand to compete with premium off-road vehicles, such as the GMC Yukon AT4, by offering customers more options for different driving styles.
