On Turbo insert No. 54, an unusual Jaguar XJ12 Series III sedan is depicted. Someone decided to tune the aristocratic British car, and the project turned out to be quite daring. 
It turns out that these modifications were done by the British studio Broadspeed, and the inscription Özel Yapim translates from Turkish as “custom-made”. The car’s clearance is reduced, the wheel arches are widened, and a large rear spoiler is installed.
Under the hood is a 5.3-liter V12 engine with a power output of 300 hp. However, the maximum speed of the Jaguar XJ12 is 230 km/h, not 270 as indicated on the insert. The Jaguar sedan was also equipped with inline-six engines of 3.4 liters (160 hp) and 4.2 liters (205 hp). 
In general, the first-generation Jaguar XJ was a real long-liver, having been produced from 1968 to 1992, with over 300,000 sedans and coupes assembled. The final third series was introduced in 1979.
The top-of-the-line Jaguar XJ12 was equipped with a 3-speed automatic transmission. The interior was finished with leather and wood, and the standard equipment included air conditioning, power windows, and a radio.
