by Car imports to Ukraine are breaking records. According to the association «Ukravtoprom», since the beginning of the year 412.8 thousand cars have been imported into our country with a total value of almost 2.6 billion dollars. 
Notably, only 16% of them (65.3 thousand) are new cars, on which importers spent $1.2 billion. Meanwhile, 347.5 thousand used cars accounted for 1.4 billion dollars. Overall, in the first 10 months of 2019, the import of new cars increased by 17%, whereas used cars surged by 3.8 times.
It has also become known from where passenger cars are imported to Ukraine. Moreover, the statistics are quite interesting. For example, in the second-hand segment, neither Lithuania nor the USA is in the first place.

1 Japan – 13.6 thousand units
2 Romania – 8.6 thousand
3 China – 7 thousand

1 Germany – 89 thousand
2 Poland – 53.5 thousand
3 Lithuania – 53.2 thousand
