New Mahindra concepts: a preview of future off-roaders
Indian automaker Mahindra has introduced four concept models that provide insight into future production off-roaders planned for release in 2027. Among them are the Vision.T in SUV style and the Vision.SXT in the form of a pickup, both of which resemble the Jeep Wrangler with their square and robust construction.
Versatile platform and design
The concepts are developed on the new NU_IQ platform, which supports various types of engines: gasoline, diesel, hybrid, and electric. They are also adapted for left- and right-hand drive, indicating the company’s global ambitions. The design was created in Mahindra’s studios in India and the UK, using the signature Heartcore style.
Features of the concepts
The Vision.T and Vision.SXT have an aggressive exterior look with LED optics, sturdy bumpers, and a high seating position. The interior features a large touchscreen, a digital instrument panel, and additional control buttons. The Vision.S resembles a compact Land Rover Defender, while the Vision.X stands out with a sporty design and sleek lines.
Production of these models will begin in India in 2027, and they will subsequently appear on other markets. The new lineup is set to expand Mahindra’s range and strengthen its position in the off-road segment.
