Jeep unveiled a super-powerful competitor to the G-Class

Jeep Wrangler will finally get a V8 Hemi under the hood. The pre-production version of the model was unveiled right on the day of the premiere of the new Ford Bronco – a hint that the competitor will not have a V8 now or in the future.

Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 392 is equipped with a 6.4-liter Hemi, known from the Dodge Charger and Challenger SRT. The V8 develops 450 hp and has a torque of 610 Nm. It is complemented by a loud exhaust system.

Paired with the engine is an 8-speed automatic transmission. Of course, the charged Jeep Wrangler received four-wheel drive with a low range and three locking differentials.

In addition, new shock absorbers and 37-inch tires are installed, and ground clearance is increased to 336 mm.

With such specifications, it can compete with the Mercedes G500 4X42.

Of course, the production version will differ from the concept car, but it will surely retain the hood scoop, as well as sporty seats and steering wheel.
