Jeep unveiled the updated Compass in real-world conditions

The new Jeep Compass in a vibrant color with updated technologies

The updated Jeep Compass debuted in Europe, but the initial images were limited. However, the company has now published new photos as part of the announcement extending its sponsorship with Juventus. The images show a bright green crossover with a black roof, featuring a more squared-off design, bold wheel arches, and modern LED headlights.

This version is equipped with 20-inch wheels, giving the vehicle an aggressive look. A small Willy’s emblem on the front bumper may indicate a special edition. Electric models will have a closed-off grille and smaller air intakes.

Technical updates and market launch

The new Compass is built on the STLA Medium platform, allowing for various engine types: mild hybrid, plug-in hybrid, and fully electric options. The base engine is a 1.2-liter turbo producing 145 hp, while a more powerful 1.6-liter version delivers 195 hp. Electric models start at 213 hp, with the top all-wheel-drive variant offering 375 hp.

Production will begin in Italy at the end of 2025, but the model is not yet planned for North America due to tariff restrictions.

Jeep has extended its partnership with Juventus, and its logo will once again appear on the jerseys of the men’s and women’s teams. This time, it will also feature the “Visit Detroit” slogan.

The updated design and technologies make the Compass more modern, but the key question is whether it can compete with other compact crossovers in the European market. A strong emphasis on electrification could be its advantage, given the growing demand for eco-friendly vehicles.
