Chaotic situation in the Netherlands: car dealership owner detained while rescuing vehicles
Surveillance footage from an exclusive car dealership in the Netherlands has gone viral. The video shows the business owner attempting to save his cars during a fire in a neighboring building but being detained by the police. The incident occurred last week in the city of Moordrecht and sparked widespread outrage.
During the fire, the owner of Gräper Automotive tried to evacuate as many of his vehicles as possible. He managed to move an Audi Q7, Ferrari 812 Superfast, Audi RS Q8, Ferrari 488 GTB, Mercedes-AMG GT R, and other cars, including a classic pickup truck. Later, he also evacuated a BMW M5 Touring, Mercedes G63, Audi RS6, and RS5.
Conflict with the police
When police and firefighters arrived at the scene, the situation escalated. The video shows the owner attempting to return to the workshop to help an employee move a Ferrari F12, but an officer aggressively pushed him away. Soon, two more officers approached, one of whom grabbed the man from behind. The owner was then pepper-sprayed and arrested.
According to an eyewitness, the police intervened while the dealership owner was already actively participating in the evacuation of the vehicles.
This incident has raised questions about the actions of law enforcement, especially considering that the owner was trying to save his property. Local residents and internet users are actively discussing the case, expressing support for the businessman. The police have not yet provided an official comment regarding the motives for the detention.
