Putin’s table has already become a meme hero around the world. However, his car and motorcade are also longer than those of many leaders of the richest countries on Earth. All while Putin’s height is 168 cm, but that’s not precise, as strange as it may seem, it’s a secret, and the data varies.

For example, there is information that Medvedev is actually taller (or longer?) than Putin, but in any case, it can definitely be said that Putin’s height varies between 170 cm (from 168 to 172 cm, according to different data). Other sizes of the head of the Russian Federation are unknown.

But judging by his tables, cars, and motorcades, he is clearly not accustomed to half-measures. Or, as the saying goes, the bigger the car, the less its owner has you know what. Or just too many complexes. Anyway, let’s start with the car and the motorcade.

For several years, GDP has been using the Aurus-41231 “Senate” – this is Putin’s main official car. Its length is 6620 mm. For comparison, Biden’s limousine, nicknamed “The Beast,” is 5.5 meters long. At the same time, the US president’s car weighs 9 tons, while Putin’s Aurus is 7.2 tons. But weight is one thing, the main thing is the size.

Putin’s motorcade can number about 70 (sometimes up to a hundred) cars plus a dozen motorcycles. Obviously, when he passes, all the roads are blocked in advance, and the entire area is “cleared” (in both literal and figurative senses) by special services. Recently, BBC reported that even the snow at the cemetery, where Putin honored the memory of those who died during the siege of Leningrad, was allegedly disinfected.

Now regarding Putin’s table. It has become a source of many memes and sarcastic jokes. After all, it’s rare for world leaders to be separated by such a distance during a meeting – 6 (six!) meters. After a wave of jokes, the Kremlin explained that this was due to coronavirus restrictions and the French president’s unwillingness to submit a Russian PCR test before meeting with Putin (that’s where it all began, basically).

According to the Italian publication Corriere, the author of such a remarkable piece of furniture turned out to be Italian Renato Polonia from Cantu (Como), who heads the company Oak. He created the long table without considering the distance since they were unaware of the pandemic at the time (it was made 25 years ago). The Italian said it is 6 meters long and 2.60 wide. It is made of wood and covered with white lacquer and gold leaf. Also, it features handmade decorative elements.
Conclusion: it seems Putin doesn’t like anything less than 6 meters. Or maybe he simply likes the number “6,” because if you sum up 24 (the date when the Russian Federation invaded Ukraine), you also get 6.
