American magazine Motor Trend has once again held its traditional drag racing of the coolest cars of the year. This time, eight models competed for the title of the fastest car.
The total power of the cars is over 5000 hp. Supercars Acura NSX (580 hp), Chevrolet Corvette C8 (500 hp), Ferrari F8 Tributo (720 hp), Lamborghini Huracan Evo (640 hp), and Porsche 911 Turbo S (650 hp) participated in the drag race. Also competing were the muscle car Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 (760 hp), the crossover Porsche Cayenne Turbo (550 hp), and the pickup Ram TRX (707 hp).
In previous years, all the cars started simultaneously at the Vandenberg Air Force Base airfield, but recently it has been closed due to quarantine, so paired races had to be held. The winner, in principle, could be predicted. More details are in the video from Motor Trend.
