The British credit community Moneybarn conducted a very interesting study. Experts identified the most dangerous music in cars.
The study identified musical compositions that have a negative impact on drivers. Typically, these are tracks with a tempo of over 120 BPM (beats per minute). Such songs distract the driver’s attention, and their fast rhythm encourages more rapid and aggressive driving.
As a result, the risk of accidents increases. Moneybarn selected five of the most undesirable songs for drivers:
- American Idiot – Green Day
- Party in the U.S.A – Miley Cyrus
- Mr. Brightside – The Killers
- Don’t Let Me Down – The Chainsmokers
- Born to Run – Bruce Springsteen

Songs that, on the contrary, can calm the driver and allow them to focus on the road were also named:
- Stairway to Heaven – Led Zeppelin
- Under the Bridge – Red Hot Chili Peppers
- God’s Plan – Drake
- Africa – Toto
- Location – Khalid
