Quarantine in Ukraine is becoming stricter. Due to the coronavirus epidemic, not only has travel through border checkpoints been restricted, but roads have begun to be fully or partially closed.
According to Auto24, restrictions have been introduced in three regions of the country. In particular, from today until April 24, two road sections in the Transcarpathian region are closed:
– Uzhotsky Pass (N13 Lviv-Sambir-Uzhgorod highway);
– Torun (Vyshkovsky) Pass (R-21 Dolyna-Khust highway). You can drive alternative roads after being checked with a temperature measurement:
– Yablunetsky Pass (N-09 Mukachevo-Rohatyn-Lviv highway);
– Abranski Pass (M-06 Kyiv-Chop highway).
In the Chernivtsi region, the entry and exit of Toporivtsi village (Novoselytsia district) and Kolinkivtsi village (Khotyn district) have been restricted. Only food and medicines are allowed to be brought in, and residents can leave only in extreme cases. Transit traffic on the Mahala-Nedoboivtsi road has also been closed, and one of the entrances to Chernivtsi (at the intersection of St. Sichovykh Striltsiv and V. Oleksandriyi) has been blocked.
In the Ternopil region, the villages of Shveykiv and Kovalivka and four other villages in the Monastyryska district have been closed to entry and exit. In other settlements, checkpoints have been set up to measure temperatures.
