People can be conditionally divided into those who do not understand why to buy a new car, and those who do not understand why to buy a used pig in a poke. Anyway, in Ukraine, there are sometimes options for very interesting used cars, which even in Europe or the USA are much more expensive.
In this collection, we have gathered perhaps the coolest and most glamorous used cars for the money. We are talking about used cars costing from 10 to 20 thousand dollars, which, nevertheless, look and are perceived as much more expensive.
This is one of those cases when to the question “What car do you have?”, you can proudly answer “Maserati” or “Porsche”…
Maserati 3200 GT 2000. Price – $18 thousand
Yes, yes, there are several such cars in Ukraine. It’s a real Italian with a 3.2-liter turbocharged V8, although you need to be prepared for problems with the electronics.
Maserati Quattroporte 2004-2006. Price – $13-17 thousand
The luxurious Maserati sedan is surprisingly cheap on the used market. However, early models have very glitchy robotics.
Porsche Cayenne 2004-2008. Price – $10-13 thousand
There are plenty of used Porsche Cayenne first-generation cars on the market.
They are more or less reliable, but it’s better not to go for Turbo versions and versions with air suspension. And take care of the headlights.
Jaguar S-Type early 2000s. Price – $6-9 thousand
Retro design, powerful engines, and economical turbodiesels. However, electronics are unreliable.
Alfa Romeo Brera 2005-2007. Price – $12-15 thousand
A rare Alfa Romeo coupe with Giugiaro design. By Alfa Romeo standards, the car is reliable, although problems with electronics are not uncommon.
Mercedes-Benz CL 2002-2006. Price – $8-12 thousand
The large Mercedes coupe is powerful, comfortable, and very reliable.
Although the air suspension is not its strong point.
Lexus LS 460 2008. Price – $16-19 thousand
Old Lexuses are usually trouble-free, well-equipped, and very comfortable.
Mazda RX-8 2003-2005. Price – $5-10 thousand
A bright car with a rotary engine that requires proper care, so there are quite a few “beaten” specimens on the market.
Audi TT 2005-2010. Price – $10-15 thousand
The stylish coupe is built on the Golf platform, so there will be no problems with spare parts.
Porsche Boxster 1999-2004. Price – $15-20 thousand
The first-generation Porsche Boxster is rare in the Ukrainian secondary market and not the cheapest. But it is a real mid-engined sports car with a well-tuned chassis.
