In Hong Kong, China, a junkyard with rare sports cars was found. Of course, it’s not Dubai, where exotic supercars are spotted in junkyards, but there were also quite a few cool cars here. 
It’s worth noting that there are plenty of wealthy people in Hong Kong, so there are many cool sports cars there. In the video by Jalopnik, you can see a burnt Lotus Elise, as well as a Subaru WRX STI, Toyota Supra, GT86, and even a Nissan Skyline GT-R. 
Rare coupes like the Mitsubishi FTO and even electric vehicles can also be found in the junkyard.
The reason is that Hong Kong has high car taxes and fines for those who fail to pass vehicle inspection, so older cars are preferred to be scrapped.
