New details have emerged about the new generation Toyota Land Cruiser. The model with the index 300 will debut only in 2021. The Australian division of Toyota has revealed details about the model. 
The new Toyota Land Cruiser 300 will change dramatically. It is quite possible, following the example of the Land Rover Defender, it will even get rid of the frame (although this is not certain).
However, it is known for sure that the naturally aspirated V8 will not be available for the new Cruiser. Instead, a 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 with 420 hp from the Lexus LS will be offered. The new Toyota Land Cruiser 300 diesel will also be a six-cylinder. A 354 hp hybrid version is also confirmed. These same engines may also be available in the new Lexus LX, which will be introduced in 2022.
