by In the early 90s, LAZ attempted to design not only buses but also cars. We recently wrote about the LAZ-3210 minivan, and now we’ll talk about the LAZ truck. 
Such a project did exist, although little is known about it. The Facebook community «Українські автомобілі» shared its images. The truck was planned to be created using the aggregates of the LAZ-695N bus.
This means it was intended to be equipped with a 150-horsepower gasoline engine from the ZIL-130. 
The estimated payload of the LAZ was 6 tons. They planned to create a flatbed, a tractor, and a van. However, the harsh 90s did not allow the project to develop.
