Photos of a luxurious version of the GAZ-14 have appeared on the internet. The Chaika tuning was performed by the RIDA studio, which is currently building elongated Toyota Land Cruisers.
This GAZ-14 Chaika was modified in 1993, as reported by Carakoom. Visually, it is distinguished only by its alloy wheels from a Chevrolet Impala. The main efforts were focused on the interior.
The GAZ-14 interior was trimmed with expensive leather and wood. The folding seats were removed, and in their place, a television with a VCR, a retractable table, and shelves for glasses were installed. The driver was separated by a retractable partition.
At least two such Chaikas were produced, differing in their interiors. However, the interesting project was soon forgotten.
