At the Concours d’Elegance classic car show in Pebble Beach (USA), the new supercar Ken Okuyama Kode 0 was presented. Its creator, Ken Okuyama, became famous as the designer of the legendary Ferrari Enzo coupe.
The presentation venue was chosen for a reason. Kode 0 is designed in a retro style and reminiscent of the famous 70s wedge cars – such as the Lamborghini Countach, Lancia Stratos, and Porsche Tapiro.
Of course, the car received Lambo doors – another invention of the 70s. The exhaust system nozzles look unusual.
The Ken Okuyama Kode 0 is based on the monocoque and chassis of the Lamborghini Aventador supercar. All body panels are made of carbon, and therefore the car is lighter than the donor – 1550 kg. With a 6.5-liter 700-horsepower V12, acceleration to one hundred takes less than 3 seconds, and the maximum speed exceeds 350 km/h.
Most likely, the new supercar Ken Okuyama Kode 0 will remain a one-off, as there are no plans to produce it. Nevertheless, some oligarch might be able to buy it for their collection.
