Kyiv is listed among the cities in the world with the largest traffic jams. This is evidenced by a study from the navigator manufacturer TomTom.
The capital of Ukraine ranked 13th in the TomTom ranking. The study shows that traffic in Kyiv increases travel time on the road by an average of 46%. The most congested periods are from 8:00 to 9:00 and from 17:00 to 19:00.
The worst traffic jams in the world are in Mumbai, India: because of them, residents spend 63% more time on the road. They are followed by Bogotá (63%), Lima (58%), New Delhi (58%), and Moscow (56%).
