In China, the cheapest electric car in the world has gone on sale. The new Changli Nemeca costs only $930 and is sold on AliExpress.
Journalists from Jalopnik ordered this miracle and conducted its test drive. The Changli Nemeca looks like a toy car, and its dimensions are amusing. The plastic electric car is 2.5 meters long and weighs only 323 kg.
Nevertheless, the interior can fit three people, with the driver sitting in the center (just like in the McLaren F1). The Chinese electric car even features a touchscreen and a rearview camera. The electric motor develops a whole 1.6 hp (1.2 kW) and allows speeds of up to 35 km/h. However, the video shows that even a slight incline was a test for it.
The range is 40-100 km.
However, the battery is not included in the base price – with it, the Chinese electric car costs $1199.
By the way, there are plenty of such miniature electric vehicles in China. Some of them are even sold in Ukraine.
