by A new Hengtian L4600 has been spotted in China. The copy of the Toyota Land Cruiser 200 SUV will go on sale by the end of the year.
The new Chinese SUV is slightly larger than its prototype – 5089 mm in length, 2026 mm in width, and 1872 mm in height with a wheelbase of 2950 mm. In profile and from behind, it looks a lot like the Toyota Land Cruiser 200, while the front part is designed in the spirit of the Toyota Prado 150.
The interior is highlighted by a wide central panel with a large touchscreen in Tesla style. There are promised versions for 5 and 7 seats.
The Chinese Cruiser 200 is equipped with a 4.6-liter V8 engine producing 286 hp, developed by the Fu-Tai corporation. Versions with manual and automatic transmission are promised.
Interestingly, a real Toyota Land Cruiser was previously produced at the FAW plant in China, but the production was stopped two years ago. Now this gap has been filled by the Hengtian L4600.
