The first to receive the innovative technology was the new Geely Icon. The Chinese crossover with its original design is built on the Volvo XC40 platform. The car is equipped with an IAPS climate system with filters that protect against bacteria and viruses.
During the coronavirus outbreak in China, the Icon became very popular – more than 30 thousand crossovers were purchased.
Then advanced filters were installed on the Geely Coolray crossover. It also uses Volvo XC40 units and is equipped with a 1.5-liter 177-horsepower turbo engine from the Swedish brand.
The Chinese did not stop there and even established online sales with drone delivery of keys to customers!
In general, Geely tried to protect customers not only from coronavirus but also from sellers.
