The DongFeng Motor company has been producing the Chinese Hummer H1 for several years. And now, China has decided to sell it to everyone interested (it was previously manufactured only for military service).

It should be noted that the DongFeng Mengshi/Warrior has been produced in China for almost 20 years, and unlike most “Chinese clones”, it is not a fake but a licensed copy of the Humvee/Hummer H1. In 2007, the vehicle underwent a facelift and received its own “plumage” along with improved technical solutions.

The DongFeng SUV is offered with 6.5-liter and 4-liter diesel engines. The automatic transmission is a 4-speed, while the manual is a five-speed. The Chinese Hummer will appear in general sales as early as spring 2021. The purchase price is not disclosed. However, there is information that initially customers will be offered a “bare chassis” with a cabin.

Did you know that there is even a Chinese UAZ BJ212?
