This is a pumped-up version of one of Clarkson’s favorite cars, the Fiat 500, and it seemed it was guaranteed to receive, at the very least, good ratings. But it turned out the opposite.695 Rivale was subjected to sharp criticism for its overly soft suspension with poor energy capacity and unsuccessful steering. Even the design from Rivale did not save the car from getting into the “worst of the worst” nomination.Memorable quote: “The 695 convertible is unstable at speed and is as uncomfortable to drive as wearing a thong is for a man.”

SUVs usually fall into one of Clarkson’s two categories: those he loves, like the Range Rover and the Alfa Romeo Stelvio, and those he hates.
The Audi Q8 sits firmly in the latter category.The only thing Clarkson appreciated about this model was the extremely smart Audi technology, and overall: “It’s a rival to the equally terrible BMW X6 — it’s a car for crazy people.”Note that the Audi Q8 is equipped with three engine options, including two diesels, but the main one is considered to be the 3-liter turbo V6 gasoline engine with 340 hp and 500 Nm of torque.

In Europe, this car is sold under the Dacia brand, and it makes sense because Duster is essentially a Romanian company development, but in our countries, the crossover is known under the more expensive Renault brand.Clarkson didn’t like the car because of the completely ugly handling and a low-power engine. Arguably, Clarkson’s biggest review in 2018 was his analysis of the Swedish Volvo V60.
