In the USA, an abandoned 1965 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray was found in an old garage. The sports car had been there for about 50 years, and it was buried under a whole pile of garbage.
The car is indeed rare and collectible – it is one of only 771 1965 Chevrolet Corvettes with a 5.4-liter injection engine. This 375-horsepower V8 could accelerate to 100 km/h in 6.3 seconds and reach 225 km/h. By the way, after 1965, the Corvette Stingray was no longer equipped with fuel injection.
The Chevrolet Corvette is equipped with a 4-speed manual transmission, and the 1965 model first received disc brakes on all wheels. As seen in the photos, it is a roadster with a removable hardtop.
Of course, the car requires restoration, but overall its condition is not the worst. It has low mileage, and the plastic body doesn’t rust.
