When the Super-Powered Venom Mustang Appears, the Hellcat Looks Like a Kitten Next to It

Hennessey Turns the Mustang Dark Horse into a Supercar

American muscle cars have always competed for the title of the most powerful, and the Dodge Hellcat with its 707 hp was the undisputed leader for a long time. However, a modified Ford Mustang Dark Horse from the tuning company Hennessey has now entered the arena.

The standard Dark Horse has 500 hp, but after installing a super-powerful supercharger, upgraded fuel injectors and pump, this figure increases to 850 hp. Thanks to this, the car accelerates to 100 km/h in 3.2 seconds and covers a quarter mile in 10.9 seconds.

Races with the Hellcat

“The modified Mustang is not just faster – it’s in a different league”

In a series of races against the Challenger Hellcat, the Mustang Super Venom demonstrates an impressive advantage. Regardless of the start type – from a standstill or a rolling start – the modified Ford easily leaves the competitor behind. Its ability to quickly gain speed without wheelspin is especially impressive.

However, such performance comes at a price: the Super Venom starts at $163,950, which is significantly more expensive even than the more powerful Challenger Demon 170 version. For comparison, a used Hellcat can be found in the $30,000-$60,000 range.

This project clearly demonstrates how modern tuning solutions can transform a production car into a true race winner. Although the cost of such modifications remains high, they open new horizons for high-performance car enthusiasts.
