According to Richmond police, the couple had an argument at the beginning of last month. Following that incident, the woman allegedly slashed the car’s tire. On July 15th, another dispute occurred, after which she cracked the windshield, poured salt into the engine, filled the ventilation vents with glitter, destroyed the rearview mirror, and smashed the radio-infotainment system.
Police reported that the woman confessed her actions to a tow truck driver, who then informed the victim’s mother.
Consequences and Legal Measures
Due to the significant damage, the car was taken to a repair shop. The woman also apologized for her actions via Instagram, but during police questioning, she claimed she only cracked the window and poured in glitter. However, on August 14th, she was arrested and charged with a first-degree criminal mischief, which can be punishable by up to five years in prison and a $10,000 fine. After posting a $12,000 bond, she was released.
