Geely’s Toyota Camry Competitor: 1300 Miles on a Single Tank for Half the Price

New Geely Galaxy A7 Model: A Hybrid with Impressive Range

Chinese automaker Geely has introduced the new Galaxy A7 model – a sedan with a plug-in hybrid powertrain aimed at family buyers. The car offers a combined range of over 2100 km (or about 1300 miles) and fuel consumption of only 2 liters per 100 km.

Although the popularity of mid-size sedans is decreasing in Western countries, they remain in demand in China. The Geely Galaxy A7 is designed as an alternative to models such as the Toyota Camry and Honda Accord, but exclusively in a hybrid version.

Technical Features

The Galaxy A7’s design adheres to classic canons but with modern elements, such as LED light bars and chrome details. The model is expected to go on sale in China this year at a price of around ¥100,000 (≈$13,900), which is significantly cheaper than its competitors.

Despite limited information on exact specifications, it can be assumed that the A7 will become popular among those looking for an economical but more spacious option compared to all-electric models. At the same time, its technological base has already been proven on other cars of the brand, which could ensure reliability.
