by The used car market in Ukraine has collapsed due to the coronavirus and quarantine. According to the association “Ukravtoprom”, in March, the first registration was completed by 18.6 thousand used cars – 61% less than in March 2019. 
The key reason for the decline is the closure of Ministry of Interior service centers due to the quarantine in March. As is known, they carry out only the registration of new cars (although sales of new also collapsed).

In total, in the first quarter of 2020, 79.5 thousand used cars were registered for the first time.
This is 57% less than a year earlier, although it should be noted that in January-February 2019 the preferential customs clearance for cars with European registration was still in effect.
