One of the main novelties of the Tokyo Motor Show was the new Nissan Ariya. Essentially, this is a pre-production version of the Leaf crossover. Car sales are set to start at the end of 2020.
The Nissan electric vehicle measures 4600 mm in length, 1920 mm in width, and 1630 mm in height. It features an expressive design with a sloping roof and a high window line.
Also notable are the huge faux radiator grille and 21-inch wheels.
In the cabin, the virtual dashboard and multimedia touchscreen are grouped into one block, and all buttons are touch-sensitive. The equipment includes the ProPILOT II semi-autonomous driving system.
It is known that the Nissan Leaf crossover received two electric motors, but their power is not specified. It is expected that the total output will be about 300 hp, and acceleration to a hundred will take 5 seconds.
