Aston Martin DB6 – a legendary model from the 60s, highly valued by collectors. Prince Charles owns such a car, and now it runs not on gasoline, but on wine. Aston Martin has decided to go even further and transformed the DB6 into an electric car.
The base was the 1970 Aston Martin DB6 Volante convertible. On the surface, it doesn’t look any different from the standard model, but under the hood, it hides a power unit from the Aston Martin RapidE.
Recall, two electric motors develop 610 hp and possess a torque of 950 N·m.
The specifications of the Aston Martin DB6 are unknown, but the heavier RapidE accelerates to 100 km/h in about 4 seconds. A 65 kWh battery allows for a range of about 320 km without recharging.
This is not the first similar conversion in Britain. Previously, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle drove an electric Jaguar E-Type during their wedding.
