In Lviv, an iconic 1969 Ford Mustang with German license plates is up for sale. The untaxed car is being offered for $110,000.
Typically, 60s Ford Mustangs are not that expensive, although they are valued by collectors. However, this is a rare coupe Ford Mustang Mach 1 Cobra Jet. Out of 300,000 Mustangs in 1969, only 13,000 of these models were made.
The main feature of the Ford Mustang Cobra Jet is hidden under the hood. The seven-liter V8 officially develops 335 hp, although its actual power is higher — about 400 hp. Acceleration to one hundred takes 5.7 seconds, and the maximum speed exceeds 200 km/h.
The 1969 Ford Mustang is equipped with a 3-speed automatic transmission, power steering, and front disc brakes. The Mach 1 package also includes a front spoiler, rear wing, and sports seats.
The car owner states in the ad that it has a mileage of 100,000 km. The Ford Mustang Cobra was brought to Germany from California and has all the necessary German documents. However, until the laws of Yuzhanina come into effect, the car cannot be cleared through customs.
