by The company AC Cars has unveiled a new version of its famous Cobra. Moreover, quite an unusual one – this time the roadster has been transformed into an electric car. 
The AC Cobra Series 1 Electric is equipped with a motor producing 312 hp and a torque of 500 Nm. Acceleration to 100 km/h takes 6.7 seconds. The 54 kWh battery provides a range of 240 km.
Visually, the electric car is indistinguishable from the very first 1962 Cobra with a V8. The roadster is lightweight – only 1250 kg. The electric car can be purchased for 170 thousand dollars. Only 58 cars will be produced since the Cobra is now 58 years old. By the way, such conversions have become frequent in recent years.
There is already an electric Jaguar E-Type, and old Rolls-Royces.
