In the center of Kyiv, a rather unexpected scene was noticed – instead of businessmen or VIP drivers, the smell of fresh vegetables and fruits was coming from the windows of a Mercedes GLS. Products were offered for purchase from the trunk of this luxury SUV, as at a spontaneous market.
Perhaps this is just an attempt to find a new “marketing move” or – to try to survive in the face of rising prices: here it is, the reality of the 21st century, where a luxury car becomes a mobile kiosk.
Be that as it may – such contrasts are really striking and make one think about how strange our everyday life can sometimes be.
It reminded us of the story with the potato seller on a Rolls-Royce.
