The Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer Xpeng is preparing to launch the new G7 SUV, which will feature a revolutionary AR display. The system, developed in collaboration with Huawei, will project graphics directly onto the windshield, significantly expanding the capabilities of conventional HUDs.
Technical Features
The new G7 model will have several battery options and will start at a price of around $35,000. The base variant will receive an electric motor with a capacity of 292 hp, allowing it to reach speeds of up to 202 km/h.
Several automakers already offer similar AR systems, but Xpeng is taking the technology to a new level in a more affordable segment.
Externally, the G7 resembles the Kia EV6, but with a higher seating position. The car has received modern LED lighting and a minimalist design that fits harmoniously into the Chinese electric vehicle market.
Despite the fact that similar technologies are already used by premium brands, Xpeng demonstrates that innovations can be affordable. This could become a serious advantage in a market where buyers increasingly expect cars to offer not only reliability but also cutting-edge technological solutions.
