A true explosion is being prepared on the supercar scene in Italian Sant’Agata Bolognese — according to rumors, by the end of the summer, Lamborghini will present a new super-powerful creation of engineering and design thought. In August, at the prestigious Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance competition in California, the brand may present a limited series of cars that, as insiders claim, will become the most powerful in Lamborghini’s history.
The novelty has already been christened with the name Fenomeno — meaning “phenomenon” in Italian and Spanish. It is likely that this will be the name of the supercar, as this spring Lamborghini officially registered the corresponding trademark in the EU.
It is expected that the Fenomeno will receive its technical basis from the hybrid Revuelto, which features a 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12 under the hood working in tandem with three electric motors. But it won’t be limited to just repeating the formula — the Fenomeno promises to go beyond the 1015 hp power of the Revuelto. According to preliminary data, we are talking about more than 1030 horsepower, which will allow the newcomer to challenge even the Ferrari SF90 XX, one of the competitor’s most brutal models.
At the same time, the new model will not be a stylistic copy of the Revuelto. One of the brand’s selected clients, who has already seen the car in person, stated that its design is “inspired by one of Lamborghini’s most iconic models.” Perhaps it’s about the legendary Miura or Diablo, which in their time became symbols of an entire era.
The production run of the Fenomeno will be limited — only 29 units, which automatically makes this supercar a true artifact on wheels, even before its official debut. Given the exclusivity and technical parameters, the price of the novelty will likely reach cosmic heights.
