Testing of the New Lamborghini Revuelto SV Has Begun
Spy photographers recently caught the new Lamborghini Temerario Spyder, and now they have captured the Revuelto SV for the first time. The manufacturer didn’t even try to hide it: the prototype lacks traditional camouflage and instead bears the inscription ‘Attenzione Macchina Veloce’.
This translates to ‘Caution: Fast Car’ and is a not-so-subtle hint at the return of the Super Veloce badge. This warning is entirely justified, as the standard model is equipped with a naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12 engine, three electric motors, an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission, and a lithium-ion battery. This hybrid powertrain develops a combined output of 1,001 hp (747 kW) and propels the car to over 350 km/h.
The Revuelto SV will be even more powerful. For comparison, the Aventador SV produced 740 hp (552 kW), which was 49 hp more than the standard model. Later, the Aventador SVJ with 759 hp (566 kW) appeared in the lineup.
It’s still too early to talk about the exact specifications of the Revuelto SV, but rumors suggest we can expect the enhanced hybrid powertrain to deliver around 1,184 hp (883 kW). However, historical practice indicates the increase might be smaller.
Exterior Changes and Aerodynamics
In addition to the powertrain, the Revuelto SV has received a unique front bumper and a pronounced splitter. New triangular air intakes and modified support struts are also noticeable.
The side changes are less obvious, but upon closer inspection, a new side fin behind the front wheels is visible. The production model is also expected to receive alloy wheels unique to the SV version.
Rear End and Interior
At the rear, the prototype is equipped with a large spoiler and new ventilation openings above the taillights. A modified exhaust system with round tips in a hexagonal surround can also be seen. The aggressive diffuser appears to be carried over from the standard model, but this could change for the production version.
Photographers couldn’t peek inside, but the SV interior will likely be familiar: a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and an 8.4-inch multimedia system. At the same time, weight reduction measures are expected, such as lightweight sports seats, the removal of carpets and sound-deadening materials. The SV version may also lose some secondary features, for example, the 9.1-inch display for the front passenger.
The arrival of the Revuelto SV continues the tradition of the most powerful and extreme versions in Lamborghini’s lineups. This is not just an update, but a serious statement of intent to remain at the top of the hypercar segment, where competition grows fiercer every year. The increased power and aerodynamic improvements indicate that engineers have focused not only on straight-line speed but also on handling at the limit. Cars like this often set the tone for future technologies that later trickle down to more mainstream models.
