Lamborghini Bets on a Ten-Year Reliability Guarantee to Change Its Image

New Warranty Program from Lamborghini

Italian cars, especially high-performance ones, have long had a reputation for being exquisite but not flawlessly reliable. However, Lamborghini aims to ensure that the owners of their supercars are confident that their vehicles will perform as flawlessly as they look.

Warranty up to 10 Years

To ensure this confidence, the manufacturer has introduced an extended warranty program lasting up to 10 years from the vehicle’s first registration. This is the first time owners are given a guarantee that Lamborghini will support them in case of problems.

Service Package for Vehicle Protection

The company has introduced a range of new service offerings and products aimed at protecting the integrity, performance, and emotional strength of its cars. The goal is to preserve each vehicle as a “timeless work of art” that should serve long after its mileage ceases to be the primary focus.

Current Terms for Models

Currently, the Lamborghini Temerario, Revuelto, and Urus SE come with a five-year scheduled maintenance plan. Additionally, hybrid models have an eight-year warranty on high-voltage batteries.

Additional Options for Owners

Owners who want even more peace of mind can take advantage of the 10-year Selezione Warranty Extension program. Lamborghini has not yet disclosed the cost of the additional coverage, but given the customer base, it is unlikely to be an obstacle for many.

Support for Historic Models

Even when the Lamborghini warranty expires, the brand has the capabilities and expertise to keep cars on the road for decades. It operates the Polo Storico division, dedicated to preserving and restoring historic models. There is also an authenticity certification program aimed at protecting the legacy of rare models and increasing their value.

“Lamborghini’s After-Sales department adheres to a comprehensive approach to customer care, ensuring that each car retains its original qualities and performance over time, thereby protecting and even increasing its value,” stated Lamborghini’s After-Sales Manager Giuliano Cassataro.

“Our mission is to provide customers with comprehensive support throughout the entire lifecycle of their cars. Thanks to our programs, this journey is designed to last forever: from the first day of ownership to the moment the car becomes eligible for certification as a historic model.”

These initiatives demonstrate how the automaker is adapting to modern challenges by combining innovation with tradition. The growing demand for electric and hybrid vehicles is forcing companies to expand warranty terms, which could positively impact consumer trust. Furthermore, programs like Polo Storico highlight the importance of preserving automotive heritage, which is becoming increasingly relevant in the context of global environmental trends.
