Lamborghini Begins Testing the New Revuelto SV
Following recent photos of the Lamborghini Temerario convertible, spy photographers have also captured the first prototypes of the Revuelto SV model. The manufacturer didn’t even try to hide it: the car lacks traditional camouflage, and instead, the body bears the inscription “Attenzione Macchina Veloce,” which translates to “Caution: Fast Car.” This is a rather transparent hint at the return of the Super Veloce designation.
The speed warning is entirely justified. The base Revuelto is equipped with a hybrid powertrain that includes a naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12 engine, three electric motors, an eight-speed preselective gearbox, and a lithium-ion battery. The combined power output of this plug-in hybrid is 1001 horsepower, allowing it to accelerate beyond 350 km/h.
Expected Improvements and Power
The new SV version promises to be even more powerful. Comparing it to the previous Aventador model, its SV version produced 49 horsepower more than the standard one, and later the SVJ modification with 759 hp appeared. As for the Revuelto SV, exact figures are not yet available, but rumors in automotive industry circles suggest a possible increase in the hybrid system’s power to approximately 1184 hp. However, judging by Lamborghini’s historical update patterns, the increase might turn out to be more modest.

Exterior Changes and Aerodynamics
In addition to the powertrain, the Revuelto SV will receive a number of exterior updates aimed at improving aerodynamics and reducing weight. The prototype already shows:
The production version is also expected to receive alloy wheels specifically developed for the SV modification.
Interior and Weight Reduction
Although the prototype’s interior remained hidden from the lenses, it is expected to retain the general architecture with a 12.3-inch digital instrument panel and an 8.4-inch multimedia system. However, radical weight reduction is characteristic of the SV model. This time it might be achieved through:
- Installation of lightweight sports seats.
- Removal of some carpets and soundproofing materials.
- Possible abandonment of some secondary functions, for example, the separate display for the front passenger.
The appearance of the Super Veloce version for the flagship hybrid Revuelto is a logical step for Lamborghini, which has always offered the most sharp and extreme variants of its models. The transition to hybrid power has not become an obstacle to this tradition; on the contrary, it has opened new possibilities for increasing performance. The focus on aerodynamics and mass reduction indicates that engineers aim not just to add power but to comprehensively improve the car’s dynamic characteristics and track behavior. This brings the supercar closer to the ideals of track machines while preserving its status as a road legend. The success of such a model could finally solidify hybrid technologies not just as an ecological choice but as a powerful tool for achieving new heights of speed and driving emotions.
