Lancia revives its most famous model

Lancia revives the legendary HF Integrale

Lancia, which has long been one of the weakest automotive brands in Europe, is gradually being revived under the leadership of Stellantis. After the launch of the updated Ypsilon HF, the brand is preparing even more interesting new products. In a press release related to the presentation of the Ypsilon Rally6, the company confirmed the return of the iconic HF Integrale designation for future Gamma and Delta models.

“HF will become the defining feature of all high-performance versions in the new Lancia lineup,” the company stated.

Modern interpretation of a legend

The new Gamma and Delta HF Integrale will not be exact copies of the original Delta, which became famous in the world of rallying thanks to its turbocharged engine. Unlike the classic, the future Delta is likely to be an electric vehicle. According to Autocar, the model will share the CMP platform with other Stellantis cars, such as the Peugeot e-208.

If the Delta HF Integrale inherits technologies from the Ypsilon HF, it could receive an electric motor with a power of 280 hp. As for the Gamma, details remain unknown, but the model is expected to be available in both hybrid and electric variants.

The return of the iconic HF Integrale designation indicates Lancia’s ambitions to renew its sporting heritage. Although the era of turbocharged engines is over, the brand is trying to adapt its legendary models to modern trends while preserving their character. This could attract the attention of both brand fans and new buyers who appreciate the combination of history and innovation.
