New body kit for Mercedes-AMG GLS 63
Tuning atelier Larte Design has developed an exclusive carbon fiber body kit for the powerful Mercedes-AMG GLS 63 SUV. The kit called “Winner” includes a number of details that emphasize the aggressive character of the car while remaining quite restrained.
Features of the Winner kit
Details of the updated design
The Mercedes-AMG GLS 63 already looks impressive straight from the factory, but for Larte Design, this was not enough. The German tuner decided that the SUV needed more sharpness, presenting the “Winner” body kit — a new package that sharpens the GLS’s look but avoids excess.
Compared to other Larte kits, this one looks relatively restrained. The biggest change is the installation of a carbon hood with two ventilation openings to improve cooling. A new splitter has been added to the original front bumper, and carbon elements now adorn the outer edges of the air intakes.
Wheel arches and rims
The kit also includes widened wheel arches at the front and rear, which house optional alloy wheels. In our opinion, the spoke design of these wheels is a bit too complex for a car like the GLS 63, but customers can keep the original rims if they wish.
Changes at the rear
The modifications are completed by some details at the rear of the SUV. These include a carbon diffuser, a curved roof spoiler, carbon bumper trims, and new exhaust pipes.
Technology and convenience
All body parts that Larte sells for the AMG are made from lightweight pre-impregnated carbon fiber and have passed TÜV certification. Importantly, they also use the original mounting points, meaning no cutting is required.
This is particularly good news for those worried about selling their GLS with the Larte kit, as the parts can be easily removed and replaced with standard components.
Comparison with other projects
Larte is not always so restrained. For example, back in October, they presented a significantly more dramatic kit for the Cadillac Escalade, which included an exposed carbon hood, widened arches, a prominent splitter, and a rear diffuser.
The “Winner” kit for the GLS 63 may not be as bold, but that is precisely its appeal, as it enhances the AMG’s presence without changing its identity.
This approach demonstrates how modern tuning can combine individuality with practicality, allowing owners to adapt the car to their preferences without losing the ability to return to the standard look. The use of certified materials also confirms the company’s commitment to the quality and safety of its products.
