by The Italian company Kimera introduced the cool sports car EVO37. The car is a modern version of the famous Lancia 037, which shone in rallies 40 years ago.
Like the Lancia 037, the novelty is built on the basis of the old Lancia Beta coupe, although from the donor there is perhaps only a tubular frame. In general, the sports car has been modernized – diode headlights have appeared, and the body is now completely carbon, even the wheels are made of carbon fiber. The coupe weighs only a ton.
The standard engine has been bored out to 2.2 liters and a turbocharger has been added to the mechanical compressor. The result is 500 hp and 550 Nm.
With the 6-speed manual transmission, acceleration to 100 km/h takes about 4 seconds. Adjustable Öhlins shock absorbers and Brembo ceramic brakes have also appeared.
Only 37 Kimera EVO37 will be produced in total. The cost of the sports car will be 480,000 euros.
