The Legendary Pink Mary Kay Cadillac Is Now Going Electric

Mary Kay Switches to Electric Vehicles

Mary Kay introduced the electric crossover Optiq at its annual seminar in Charlotte, North Carolina. The car features a pearlescent pink body with black accents and chrome elements, as well as Mary Kay logos on the front doors.

This is part of the Career Car Program, which rewards the company’s top sellers with vibrant Cadillacs. The Optiq will replace previous internal combustion engine (ICE) models, becoming the first electric vehicle in the lineup.

“This transition from internal combustion engines to electricity symbolizes not just a fleet renewal, but also a reimagining of the future for our brand”

Technical Features

The tradition of pink Cadillacs for Mary Kay began back in 1968 when company founder Mary Kay Ash purchased a Coupe De Ville, which was repainted in her signature lipstick shade. Over half a century, this color has become the brand’s hallmark and is now receiving a new, more environmentally friendly embodiment.
