Legendary V10 from Porsche rescued after it got stuck among trees

Rare Porsche Carrera GT involved in an accident in Austria

Despite all its power, the Porsche Carrera GT is not immune to accidents. Recently, one such car was involved in an accident on a narrow road at the foot of the Alps. According to eyewitnesses, the car left the track and sustained serious damage.

Local firefighters published photos of the accident’s aftermath. The car slid down the slope, causing significant damage to both itself and the surrounding vegetation. Specialists had to be called in for its evacuation to avoid additional damage to the carbon fiber body, as well as to cut down several trees to create a clear path.

“The recovery of the vehicle took over three hours due to the complexity of the operation,” the rescuers reported.

According to expert estimates, the repair of this Porsche will be possible but will cost a considerable amount. It is worth noting that this model is one of the most revered among collectors, so it is unlikely to be written off.

This incident is another reminder of how important it is to exercise caution when driving powerful cars, especially on difficult road sections. The Carrera GT, despite its legendary status, remains a car that requires a high level of skill from the driver.
